Teamac Hull Blacking

A High Quality, Bitumen based coating for Hulls. Suitable for Narrowboats, Cruisers and Inland Waterway Vessels. It can be applied to suitably prepared wood, steel and cast iron to provide a water resistant anticorrosion coating. It has good abrasion and impact resistance for steel hulls. It is an economical primer finish for below the waterline, no primers required.

Carbon Steel: Minimum St 2 , Recommended Abrasive blast clean to Sa 2.5. (ISO 8501-1)

Wood and Coated Surfaces: Ensure the existing coat is intact, compatible, dry and free from oil grease and other contaminants.
