Jotun Solvalitt – High Temperature Resistant Paint

Solvalitt a fast air drying silicone acrylic with heat resistance up to 600c available in an extensive range of colours in a matt finish. It can be applied to steel, stainless, aluminium , galvanised steel and previously painted surfaces. It is suitable for insulated and non insulated pipes and is prequalified for Norsok system 2a. Recommended for hot pipes, vessels and exhaust manifolds on marine and construction equipment.

Application Guide

Carbon Steel: Minimum St 2 . Recommended abrasive blast clean to Sa 2.5 (ISO 8501-1)

Coated Surfaces: Ensure the existing coat is intact, compatible, dry and free from oil grease and other contaminants.

Apply 1-2 coats of Solvalit allow 4hrs between coats.
